How To Wear Pastel Pink Coats – A Tribute To Jackie Kennedy

How To Wear Pastel Pink Coats

When wearing pastel pink, all you want is to be recognized as a modern, stylish woman. Not a wanna-be princess or ballerina.

Therefore, keep the silhouette sleek and tailored and avoid anything too poufy or girly-looking. The new oversized pastel pink coats that are in store right now are just perfect.

Also, use pastel pink as the focus colour of the outfit and combine it with neutral colours like black, white, grey or with other pastel colours. Don’t try to colour-block with bright colours. It will ruin the classy effect.

And lastly, keep in mind that pastel pink is a light and cool colour. If you have warm and dark colourings in your hair, skin and eyes, then I’m sorry to inform you that pastel pink is not a good colour for you and you should stay away from it completely. (But don’t be sad, there are other iconic items that are just made for you, like the iconic MaxMara camel coat.)

With my little tribute to Jackie O, I hope to show that fashion runs indeed in cycles and essentially, nothing is ever truly new. But why reinvent the wheel when we can enjoy a classy look over years?

Here are your 3 Ways To Wear A Pastel Pink Coat… for future reference (hm, maybe I am a trend guru in the end?).
