World Cup 2014 is moving into the playoffs tomorrow and all eyes are on Brazil. There is quite a lot of reporting on the country at the moment and in one of them, it was explained what the colours of the Brazilian flag actually mean:
– Green represents the forests of Brazil.
– Yellow symbolises Brazil’s mineral wealth.
– Blue represents the sky over Rio de Janeiro on 15 November 1889 – the day the Republic of Brazil was declared.
I found that really interesting and was thinking that Green – Yellow – Blue would actually make an interesting colour block combination, too.
Lately I’ve been thinking a lot about different ways to wear leopard print. It seems to always be present in the fashion scene but can be difficult to do right. Too much can often get a bit over the top but as a small detail it can really make an outfit!
The kimono has become a very popular piece lately and can be found in countless forms, colours and patterns. I’ve been thinking about ways to wear a kimono, without it looking like I came right out of bed, for ages and I think I finally cracked the code.
Now that the sun is out you see people play around with more colours. Light blue is one of the hot ones for this season and it can be found in clothes as well as accessories. Here I will show you 3 different ways to wear a light blue blazer.
